Papa Loaf - the initiative
Papa Loaf is a simple initiative from Calgary, Canada to support friends in South America. Nolly Mercado resides in Calgary and makes regular trips to her native Colombia, where she helped a couple of local visionary ladies start a fantastic program that benefits low-income families with young children. Nolly's children and friends have joined her efforts by making and selling some love-filled delicious Papa Loaf, spreading love across the continent!

La Casa del Alfarero
La Casa del Alfarero (or "the Potter's House") is a day home program for very low income families in the town of Arjona, Colombia. Since 2015 they have been providing healthy meals and a safe place for many children in the community, and they can use all the help we can offer them to continue their work!
Early in 2018 the program was asked to move from the location it had borrowed since its inception. So we rolled up our sleeves to raise some support for them. The product: Papa Loaf bread mix.
